Point Lenana Summit
The classic four-day trek to the third-highest point in Africa, up the scenic Chogoria route and down Sirimon.
Overview
Point Lenana is the trekker's summit of Mount Kenya — no ropes, just a long, beautiful walk into thin air. We take the quiet Chogoria approach through moorland, gorges and glacial tarns, giving your body time to acclimatise before the pre-dawn push to 4,985 m.
You summit for sunrise with the whole of the Rift unfolding below, then cross the mountain and descend the Sirimon route — so you never retrace your steps. Fully guided, full-board mountain camps, everything arranged.
Highlights
- Sunrise summit of Point Lenana at 4,985 m

Reviews
Absolutely unforgettable. Our guide read the weather perfectly and the camps were far more comfortable than I expected. Strangers at the gate, a real crew by the summit.
Well organised from the M-Pesa booking to the trailhead transfer. Pacing was spot on for acclimatising. Would book again in a heartbeat.
Tough but so worth it. Bring more layers than you think — it gets cold up top. Guides were patient and encouraging the whole way.
